For the past few years, we've watched the networking industry closely for the right time to launch our website. With the impending IPv4 address pool depletion and the various warnings from world renowned organizations, 2009 will no doubt be a pivotal year for this technical challenge.

Sigma Designs powers IPv6 set top boxes

Sigma Designs have announced that one of their solutions, the integrated SMP8654 media processor, will be used in Advanced Communications' IPv6 set-top boxes. The companies have also announced a partnership to develop IPTV set-top boxes, for the Japanese market, again using Sigma Designs SMP8654 media processor, alongside the Adcom's iSense IPTV software platform.
